The Wyart lab at the Paris Brain Institute recruits a research support specialist (assistant-engineer) who will contribute to scientific projects as well as organizational and operational aspects of the laboratory. The candidate will work under the direct supervision of the lab head and project managers and will bring his/her molecular biology expertise to advance our understanding of movement-related neuronal populations at molecular, circuit and behavioural levels, in health and disease, and across animal models. This position requires a strong drive to perform experimental work, versatility, autonomy, and an ease to engage scientifically with lab members. Rigor, organizational, and communication skills are an absolute must.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the assistant-engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

On rare occasions, the candidate may have to come to the laboratory during the weekend when animal care requires it. The candidate will have to travel for seminars and conferences, in Paris and its suburbs, and, occasionally outside of France.
