CONTEXTE 

Le laboratoire de Plasticité Structurale, dirigé par Nicolas Renier, est spécialisé dans le développement et l’utilisation de la microscopie 3D avancée appliquée au développement cérébral. 
L’équipe cherche à comprendre comment les interactions neuro-vasculaires pendant le développement influencent les fonctions cérébrales et la plasticité, notamment au cours de la grossesse, de la période postnatale précoce et à la suite de modifications alimentaires. L’équipe applique également son expertise en imagerie 3D haute résolution à des biopsies de patients, dans le but de mieux comprendre l’organisation des microenvironnements tumoraux.

POSTE

RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES :

1. Organisation et mise en œuvre de la stratégie du laboratoire :
o Veiller au respect des standards de qualité, à la traçabilité et aux bonnes pratiques de recherche.
o Gérer efficacement les ressources du laboratoire : réactifs, consommables, matériel, systèmes de gestion des données.
o Organiser et maintenir la documentation du laboratoire, incluant protocoles, méthodologies et savoir-faire.
o Participer activement à l’obtention de financements : veille sur les appels à projets, évaluation de l’éligibilité, appui à la rédaction des dossiers.
o Soutenir et participer aux projets expérimentaux et à leur mise en œuvre pratique.

2. Conformité réglementaire et gestion administrative :
o Rédiger et organiser la documentation réglementaire en assurant la conformité aux normes institutionnelles et légales.
o Appuyer les chercheurs principaux dans le respect des obligations envers les financeurs (rapports, suivi financier, communication).

3. Formation et intégration de l’équipe :
o Accompagner l’intégration des nouveaux membres de l’équipe.
o Organiser et contribuer à la formation et au développement des compétences des membres du laboratoire (chercheurs, ingénieurs, étudiants).

4. Communication et valorisation :
o Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de communication interne et externe pour valoriser les activités et les résultats du laboratoire.
o Coordonner les événements du laboratoire, les ateliers et les actions de diffusion scientifique.

5. Valorisation de la recherche et applications :
o Participer au développement et à l’optimisation de protocoles standards en vue de partenariats industriels.
o Contribuer de manière stratégique à l’exploration de pistes de recherche translationnelle, incluant collaborations avec des CROs, startups et plateformes technologiques.

CONTEXT

The laboratory of Structural Plasticity, headed by Nicolas Renier, is specialized in advanced 3D microscopy to study brain development. The team seeks to understand how neuron-vascular interactions during development shape brain functions and plasticity, during pregnancy, during early post-natal life, and following dietary changes. The team also applies its expertise on 3D high resolution imaging to patients biopsies, seeking to better understand the organization of microtumoral environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.       Organizing and Implementing Lab Strategy:
o   Ensure compliance with quality standards, traceability, and good research practices.
o   Efficient management and organization of lab resources: reagents, consumables, hardware, and data management systems.
o   Curate and maintain lab documentation, including protocols, methodologies, and procedural knowledge.
o   Actively participate in funding acquisition, including monitoring suitable calls, assessing eligibility, and assisting in grant writing.
o   Support and participate in experimental projects and their practical implementation.

2.       Regulatory Compliance and Administrative Management:
o   Prepare and organize regulatory documentation, ensuring compliance with institutional and governmental regulations.
o   Support principal investigators in fulfilling obligations to funding bodies (e.g., reporting, financial tracking, and communication requirements).

3.       Team Training and Integration:
o   Facilitate onboarding processes for new team members.
o   Organize and contribute to training and skill development activities for staff and students.

4.       Communication and Outreach:
o   Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies to enhance visibility and dissemination of lab activities and achievements.
o   Coordinate lab-related events, workshops, and scientific outreach initiatives.

5.       Research Valorization and Applications:
o   Assist in the development and optimization of standard protocols aimed at industrial partnerships and collaborations.
o   Strategically contribute to exploring translational research opportunities, including collaborations with Contract Research Organizations (CROs), startups, and technological platforms.

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ :

Savoir-faire :

• Doctorat en sciences de la vie, neurosciences ou discipline biomédicale apparentée requis.
• Une expérience antérieure en gestion de laboratoire ou de projet est fortement souhaitée.

Savoirs :

• Maîtrise de l’anglais exigée ; connaissance de base du français requise.
• Bonne compréhension des sciences biomédicales, en particulier en neurosciences, biologie du développement ou domaines proches.
• Maîtrise des systèmes de gestion de l'information (bases de données, plateformes cloud, tableurs).
• Connaissances de base ou expérience en bioinformatique et outils de calcul (Linux, Python, Git, Wiki) fortement appréciées.
• Familiarité avec l’environnement académique en recherche biomédicale et les réglementations associées.

Savoir-être :

• Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et attention rigoureuse aux détails.
• Capacité démontrée à travailler efficacement en équipe.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Skills:

•  PhD in life sciences, neuroscience, or a related biomedical discipline is required.
•  Prior experience in laboratory management or project management roles is strongly preferred.

Knowledge :

• Proficiency in English is mandatory; basic proficiency in French is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of biomedical sciences, particularly in neuroscience, developmental biology, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency with information management systems (databases, cloud platforms, spreadsheets).
• Basic knowledge or experience in bioinformatics and computational tools (Linux, Python, Git, Wiki) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the academic biomedical research environment and regulatory compliance.
